Protein Mud Cake
A quick protein sweet fix that satisfies dessert cravings without wrecking macros.
Ingredients
- 30g chocolate protein (1 scoop)
- 5g cocoa powder
- 16g nut butter (almond, peanut, cashew)
- 1 whole egg
- 30ml (1 fl oz) milk of choice (almond, coconut, or skim)
- 1.5g baking powder (¼ tsp)
Easy Swaps
1 Whole Egg
30ml Applesauce (more fluffy)
Nut Butter
Sunflower Butter or Coconut Manna
Instructions
- Mix protein, cocoa, egg, milk, and baking powder in a microwave-safe small mug/bowl.
- Microwave ~1 min (watch closely, cooking time depends on protein powder).
- Let cool a couple minutes, top with nut butter (optional: add dark chocolate chips if you have macros available-- HU brand is my favorite).
